10:00  Drop Mom or Dad off at the Literary Festival in our Town Hall
             Pick up walking tour maps at the Stage Coach for the walking tour scavenger hunt!
             Bring scavenger hunt answers to the PRIZE BOOTH IN THE PARK for a raffle ticket entry!
             RC track practice
             Visit the New One-Room Yamhill Community Library at the Methodist Church. Get your first raffle ticket!
11:00   Ramona and Henry Look-a-Like Contest Judged. {Visit Prize Booth 11-12}
              Wagon Rides 11-2  (start near the Fire Department and Post Office ride past Beverly Cleary's Historic House!)
               Bounce House in the Park
               RC track practice
               Book sales and fun Beverly Cleary Merch. Prize Table 
11:30     Run/Walk 1 mile with YCHS's mile record holder, Louis Etta! Run/walk with YCHS's record holder and State Finalist, Louie Etta!
12:00     RC Track Races! 
12:15     Lunch specials at local restaurants, eat with authors and illustrators in the park!

1:00       Announce and pass out Prizes!
            Beverly Group Photo (If your name is Beverly, have your picture taken with the Beverlys!)

* Hang out in the Tents with lemonade and cookies, shop Beverly Cleary Days T-shirts, mugs, desk mats, and author/illustrator book sales to help support this festival and future literary events. 
​* Pick up your t-shirt if you emailed your story or did the art contest here for Beverly Cleary's Birthday! All stories sent in before May 10th will receive a t-shirt at the event and any stories written the day of event will receive a t-shirt while supplies last. Story Entries will continue online for the month of May.

King and Son's Excavation created this RC Track in 2023 for the Beverly Cleary Festival creating a fun family activity. Thank you!

​What's curvy and cool and goes really fast?

​It's the RC car races in our downtown park! These radio controlled miniature race cars will zip, zap and zoom all over our fun track with kids (or adults) on the controls.

Drop Mom or Dad (whoever loves writing) at the Town Hall Literary Festival and then walk over to the Park for tons of fun! Come practice before the races begin at noon.

Have lunch in the park with our literary festival faculty: Ana Velez, Mira Reisberg, and Vicki Conrad, where you can also purchase and receive  personally autographed books (some with on the spot drawings in them). ​
